As the title sponsor of the 2019 Big 12 Men’s Basketball Tournament,
Phillips 66 needed an experiential thingy ding to interact with fans.
So we built The Slamulator - the world’s first slam dunk simulator
- and invited fans to live their slam dunk dreams and go above the computer-generated rim. We worked with Pixel Farm to develop the Slamulation Technology, conceive the two-camera video apparatus, and over the course of four days, processed over 1200 slamulations and sent them out via text in real time.
More work and case study coming soon, but here’s a taste.
Made at Carmichael Lynch with Andrew Wetzel and Josh Leutz.
