Going into the 2019 season, the Minnesota Twins had a unique marketing problem. They had no coach, Joe Mauer retired, and having lost 84 games the year prior, they were not very good at the game of baseball. So, how do you craft a message around that?
Turns out you don’t need a message. Or headlines or scripts or a tagline or anything but a design system that pairs manic graphics with a light does of LSD to paint the scrappy young team with a new brush.
